FloridaMakes Welcomes Destin Wells as Vice President of Strategic Growth & Partnerships
ORLANDO, FL — FloridaMakes is pleased to announce that Destin Wells has joined the organization as Vice President of Strategic Growth & Partnerships, serving as a key member of the executive leadership team.
In this role, Wells will lead statewide efforts to expand FloridaMakes’ impact through strategic partnerships, new program development, and diversified funding initiatives to better serve manufacturers across the state. He will work closely with industry, government, and economic development partners to strengthen Florida’s manufacturing ecosystem and accelerate growth.
Wells brings extensive experience in economic development, policy development, and partnership building. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at the Orlando Economic Partnership, where he led initiatives focused on regional competitiveness, business attraction and expansion, industrial site development, and stakeholder engagement. His experience will support FloridaMakes’ efforts to scale workforce, supply chain, and technology initiatives statewide.
