FloridaMakes Partners with FABTECH to Bring North America's Largest Metal Forming, Fabricating, Welding, and Finishing Event to Florida
Over 65,000 Visitors from 90+ Countries Expected to Attend Orlando Event 


ORLANDO, Fla. - FloridaMakes, the official NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) representative in Florida, announces its partnership with FABTECH, the largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event in North America. FABTECH has chosen Orlando, Florida, to showcase the state's thriving manufacturing industry. This is FABTECH’s first time hosting the event in Florida. FABTECH is Scheduled for October 15-17, 2024, at the Orange County Convention Center.

FABTECH is a 'one-stop shop' venue where attendees can meet 1,500+ world-class suppliers, discover solutions and tools to improve productivity and profits, network, explore technology, and gain insights into industry trends. While the agenda is in progress,

FABTECH has announced distinguished Florida-based presenters, highlighting the local angle and underscoring Florida's manufacturing industry's importance on a national scale:
• Adrian Little, CEO of JETechnology, an Apopka, FL-based company designing and manufacturing ground equipment for aircraft such as the F-16, F-15, F-18, A-10. Little also serves as the Board Chair for the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida.
• Andrew Kossowski, CEO of Veteran's Metal in Largo, FL, and a Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) member.
• Troy Underwood, CEO of Urban Metals, LLC, based in Largo, FL, and a BAMA member.

Collaborating with FABTECH, FloridaMakes aims to ensure a successful, impactful event, connect attendees with Florida's diverse, innovative manufacturing sector, highlight Florida's manufacturing capabilities, attract customers and investors, and solidify the state's reputation as a manufacturing powerhouse.
