Stryker’s Robotics headquarters is located in Weston and is home to the Mako robotic arm-assisted system. The Mako platform, available worldwide, brings value to orthopaedic surgery through procedural advancements, and improved patient experience focused on clinical outcomes and enhanced patient satisfaction. The Mako robotic arm assisted surgery technology enables pre-operative planning and provides surgeons with intra-operative tactile guidance for bone preparation and implant placement. This technology opens the door for future implant innovations, enabling new designs through robotic capabilities and functionality.

Being an SMBE finalist means the company met stringent judging standards in several categories of criteria, including leadership, strategy, customers, measurement, analysis, knowledge management, workforce, and operations. SMBE award winners will be announced during the 30th Annual Governor’s Sterling Awards Banquet on June 3 at the Gaylord Palms resort in Orlando.
