The Bay Area Manufacturers Association Announces the Appointment of Two New Board Members

[Tampa, March 28, 2022].
The Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) announced today the appointment of two to the board of directors: Suzanne Chambers of Roebuck Technologies and Cristine Torrefranca of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund.


“We are extremely excited and grateful to welcome Suzanne and Cristine as our newest board members,” said Christina Davenport, President of the Bay Area Manufactures Association. “Each of them provides our board with a unique background and perspective and we look forward to their expertise and guidance this year.”

Suzanne Chambers is the Chair for the membership committee.  She has been a BAMA member for the past three years. She has played an integral part in growing our membership base and making sure current members are aware of the services BAMA provides. “ I am excited to be part of The Board Of Directors at BAMA because I just love learning about the many manufacturing companies here in the Tampa Bay area. My passion has always been connecting people and businesses and I am sure I will be able to do that with the phenomenal manufacturers here in the Bay” Suzanne commented.

With over 30 years of customer relationship management experience throughout Florida, Suzanne provides personalized service to businesses seeking technology solutions. As an innovative managed services provider, value-added reseller and IT consulting firm, Roebuck Technologies helps businesses enhance internal technical resources and increase employee productivity. They offer a flexible monitoring platform customized for the needs of each client, with diagnostics accessible through a browser or mobile app in real time. Suzanne and her team proactively supports infrastructure and optimizes technology, while defending against cyberattack.

Cristine Torrefranca comes on board as the new Treasurer.  She is a senior manager in the Audit & Assurance Services practice of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund. Cristine has over 10 years of experience and provides audit and assurance services for the firm’s manufacturing and distribution and construction clients. Prior to joining Saltmarsh, Cristine served as a director at a national firm where she managed engagement teams and gained audit experience working with privately held businesses.

Cristine is passionate about serving her clients, building her team, volunteering in her community, and collaborating and networking with industry partners. She is dedicated to providing solutions for and supporting the growth of manufacturing in Tampa Bay by reviewing financial statements and offering deep technical accounting knowledge. She is crucial to the firms added-value resources as she helps produce webinars, white papers and network-building events.

Cristine has served on the BAMA workforce Development Committee and Professional Development Committee. “It’s an honor to be on the BAMA board of directors.  I want to make an impact and work collaboratively with other leaders in the manufacturing industry.” said Torrefranca.
