Founded in 1978 by Butch Mullet in a small garage behind his home, Mullet's Aluminum Products, Inc. has grown into the one of the largest manufacturers of architectural aluminum products in the Southeastern U.S. with over 240 full-time employees. Recognized every year since 2007 by the Aluminum Association of Florida with their Industry Award of Excellence, Mullet's Aluminum specializes in providing quality workmanship and superior products to the Condominium, Residential and Commercial markets throughout Florida and beyond. Being an SMBE finalist means the company met stringent judging standards in several categories of criteria, including leadership, strategy, customers, measurement, analysis, knowledge management, workforce, and operations. SMBE award winners will be announced during the 30th Annual Governor’s Sterling Awards Banquet on June 3 at the Gaylord Palms resort in Orlando.
