Recommend
Regional Manufacturers Association:
Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association
Primary Product(s):
Heavy glass used for frameless shower doors, wine closets, office partitions and glass railing systems.
D3 Glass
was founded in 2012 by the Daubmann family in Ft. Myers (Lee County).
D3 Glass manufactures and tempers heavy glass used for frameless shower doors, wine closets, office partitions and glass railing systems. Some of their product has been shipped to the Kennedy Space Center, Trump Doral Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Hotel and Grand Floridian Villas. In the last nine years D3 Glass has increased in revenue, employee workforce and physical manufacturing size. In 2019, D3 Glass built a “state of the art” manufacturing/distribution facility in Ft. Myers and has grown from 10,000 sq. ft. to its new 60,000 sq. ft. building.
D3 Glass was awarded the “Manufacturer of the Year” by Lee County’s Horizon Council and was named as a “Governor Business Ambassador” by former Gov. Rick Scott.
Being an SMBE finalist means the company met stringent judging standards in several categories of criteria, including leadership, strategy, customers, measurement, analysis, knowledge management, workforce, and operations. SMBE award winners will be announced during the 30th Annual Governor’s
Sterling Awards Banquet
on June 3 at the Gaylord Palms resort in Orlando.
