Advocacy Efforts for Manufacturers
The Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association partners with FloridaMakes and other entities which comprise the Florida Manufacturing & Supply Chain Advocacy Council.
This statewide council helps elevate manufacturing in Florida while leveraging local relationships to execute grassroots campaigns to advance common goals of the industry.
- Elevate legislative issues impacting manufacturing as a priority for key state leaders.
- Manage the process of developing a comprehensive list of statewide manufacturing advocacy priorities to be adopted by the members of the Council and distributed statewide.
- Organize the annual Florida Manufacturing Advocacy Days in Tallahassee.
We encourage you to learn more about the Council, and get involved! The first step in doing so is to join our online Advocacy Council meetings, typically the third Friday of each month.
