New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NJ MEP), in conjunction with the US Army's Picatinny Arsenal, is looking nationwide for specialized companies in additive manufacturing for hazardous materials. Introduction: The Picatinny Arsenal is an American military research and manufacturing facility located in Morris County, New Jersey. The Arsenal is the headquarters of the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center. It is known for being the Army's center of expertise for small arms cartridge ammunition. The Request: We are looking for partners with experience / hardware in additive manufacturing for gun propulsion (AMGP). Partners should be familiar with utilizing stereolithography (SLA), fused deposition modeling (FDM), and / or selective laser sintering (SLS) methodologies. Innovations and process improvement proposals are welcome.
