Patti is the mid-Florida Business Advisor working directly with the Polk Manufacturers Association/Manufacturing & Supply Chain Alliance. Patti has over thirty (30) years of manufacturing experience in aerospace, defense and electronics manufacturing. Patti is a seasoned manufacturing veteran holding the positions of vice president of operations, plant manager, general manager, and lean implementation manager. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has been employed in both commercial and military manufacturing environments.
Patti Gander has both an MBA and a Master of Management. She is a subject matter expert in several areas within the manufacturing and training industry. Patti has developed training curricula covering topics in lean manufacturing, business process improvement, and quality best practices as well as in the areas of project management, management and leadership development.
Patti is currently an adjunct instructor for the University of South Florida (USF) teaching courses in HR Management, Principles of Management, Organizational Assessment, Organizational Behavior, and Negotiation. Ms. Gander has recently authored a book on organizational assessment through Great River Learning titled “Finding the Gaps in you Dominoes” released in 2017 and is currently authoring a book on organizational behavior due for release in June 2018. In addition, she was previously employed by the University of Phoenix as an adjunct instructor teaching courses in Foundations of Business, Supervision & Leadership, Organizational Theory, and Critical Thinking.
Ms. Gander has served as a Florida State Sterling Examiner. She holds board level positions in SMTA, APICS and is working on the formation of a Florida chapter of Women in Manufacturing and holds an executive board level position with the Florida West Coast Manufacturing Community Partnership.Back to Business Advisors & Staff Page
