This presentation provides an overview of Cybersecurity best practices for manufacturing firms in Florida. We dissect the “Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt” of starting a Cybersecurity program in a company, presenting a simple roadmap and recommendations for getting started defending your company from Cybersecurity attack. For manufacturing firms working with Defense customers, we also provide an overview of the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, with recommendations for getting started and achieving this critical compliance requirement. We will conclude with an overview of Cyber Florida, The Florida Center for Cybersecurity at the University of South Florida’s, no-cost programs and services available to Florida companies, including the Critical Infrastructure Risk Assessment.
