About This Event

In this webinar, learn how the advances in automation are affecting the modern manufacturing factory in terms of technology, quality and human resources and how you should prepare for these inevitable changes. You will also receive a background of Siemens Additive and its' capabilities and will discuss the pros and cons with examples for implementing additive manufacturing (AM) in a production environment. AM has commercial implications in manufacturing-related to product design and fabrication. While AM allows freedom in the production environment, the challenges must be understood to implement in the appropriate conditions. In this session, the importance of the differences between Multi-functional (MFAM) and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM) will be understood.
