Join the Florida Advanced Technological Education Center's (FLATE) Educator Webinar Series as they provide resources for all STEM educators and anyone interested in outreach for STEM and manufacturing careers. The webinar will provide tools and tips to help educators to get started and learn how to prepare for virtual STEM summer camps.

Desh Bagley (pronounced Daysh) is the former Outreach Manager for FLATE and currently serves as Director of the IT/Coding Academy at the State College of Florida. She is also the founder of TechPlayzone, an after-school and summer camp for children interested in technology. Through Desh’s influence on curriculum and programming, robotics programs have been added to the curriculum of Florida schools, become the focus for attracting students to urban schools, and has spawned the formation of robotics teams sponsored by libraries, churches, YMCAs and Scout troops. Desh has been developing STEM camps for over 15 years and successfully piloted virtual STEM camps for TechPlayzone, Hillsborough Community College and the Tampa EDC last summer.? She was proudly recognized as the 2020 FIRST LEGO League Volunteer of the Year and has been the Program Partner in West Florida for five years.
