This comprehensive three-session (90 min) program provides manufacturing professionals with the knowledge and skills to enhance their organization's cybersecurity posture.  This dive into the cyber world will open your eyes to what you are missing and how to update and correct things before its too late. 

A solid security awareness training program will drive awareness and instill the importance of protecting an organization and proper cyber hygiene. If implemented correctly, these programs can be crucial in preventing human error and insider threats, as well as helping employees understand the role they play in combatting cyberattacks. This training is normally not offered for individual participants, take advantage of this training for yourself or others in the company.

Our Host Wilson Bautista from Jun Cyber will focus on important factors in Cyber Security. Wilson is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with a diverse background that spans music, military service, and information security. Currently serving as the CEO of Jun Cyber and the Executive Director of the Cyber Ohana Project, Wilson's unique journey has been shaped by his experiences as a pianist, a combat veteran, and a cybersecurity architect.  Wilson transitioned into a leadership role in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he honed his skills in information technology and cybersecurity under the most demanding conditions. His combat experience in Afghanistan further refined his ability to anticipate and adapt to rapidly changing threats, a skill that has proven invaluable in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.

Wilson is a recognized expert in Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity, with deep expertise in DFARS, ITAR, CUI, CDI, and other regulatory compliance requirements. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA), with extensive experience in IT operations, risk management, and governance.

Session 1: Foundations of Cybersecurity

Date: Wednesday, March 26 - 8:30 a.m

·       Gain a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts and their relevance to the manufacturing sector.

·       Explore the current threat landscape, including specific threats targeting manufacturing operations (e.g., ransomware, phishing).

·       Analyze vulnerabilities in both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) environments.

·       Learn the crucial differences between IT and OT cybersecurity.

·       Understand best practices for employee cyber hygiene and network security.

Session 2: Implementing Cybersecurity

Date: Wednesday, April 2 - 8:30 a.m

·       Learn how to apply leading cybersecurity frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls) to your manufacturing environment.

·       Develop actionable strategies for securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

·       Prioritize critical assets and conduct effective risk assessments.

·       Explore best practices for monitoring and detecting cyber incidents in OT environments.

Session 3: Advanced Practices and Incident Response Planning

Date: Wednesday, April 9 - 8:30 a.m

·       Develop an effective Incident Response Plan (IRP) and learn how to handle and recover from a cyber incident.

·       Understand the importance of employee training and awareness programs.

·       Explore the role of leadership in fostering a strong cybersecurity culture.

·       Participate in scenario-based exercises simulating real-world cyberattacks (e.g., ransomware, insider threats).
